Be a friend to those in need
We would be remiss if we did not acknowledge the over 1,000 volunteers who give their time and talents each year. We’re especially grateful for the many people who have stepped forward during this challenging time. Below are just three of the many volunteers who are helping us continue to serve our community. Adele Nodler and Renee Unger are doing virtual friendly visits, connecting with older adults by phone. Richard Cherkasky is delivering Kosher Meals on Wheels to older adults to ensure they have enough to eat.
Quite simply, Jewish Family Service could not do what we do without the help of our dedicated volunteers. Each year, over 1,000 people give of their time, here in our office and out in the community. Whether you’re interested in a one-time opportunity, or an ongoing commitment, we’d love to talk with you about how you can make a difference.
