Michal Goldberg

Family Support Services Social Worker

“I started writing poetry a few years ago. It began with strumming a guitar and humming along with the tunes. The music didn’t come naturally to me, but I found that the rhythm of a tune helped me find the words to authentically express myself and my experiences. When I am in the mood to write, I usually sit down with a guitar and start strumming basic chords until the words I need come to me. This is probably why I am sometimes told that my poems seem like they can be songs. A few people have encouraged me to publish my writings. For now they are just a hobby, but perhaps one day I will be ready to publish them and share them with a larger audience.”
