Humans of JFS: Linda Klein

Linda Klein

Administrative Assistant

One of my great passions is reading, especially historical fiction that involves women who have made a difference in the world. My latest reads are: The Lilac Girls, The Atomic City Girls, The Alice Network, and The Lost Girls of Paris. Studies have shown that imagining stories helps activate the regions of the brain responsible for better understanding others and seeing the world from a new perspective. Some research shows that reading is the most effective way to overcome stress – beating out other methods like listening to music or taking a walk.  All of these are helpful and allow me to do my work more efficiently, effectively and with empathy.

Linda is the administrative acrobat who provides behind-the-scenes support to the entire agency.
