Introducing the Caring Connections Neighborhood Hub – a warm and welcoming space designed to support individuals living with dementia and their family caregivers. Our innovative hub
fosters an inclusive environment where meaningful connections are built and
valuable resources are
within reach.

Here, you’ll find engaging activities for both individuals and caregivers to enjoy together, access to respite resources, guidance from professionals and opportunities to connect with others who understand your journey. Join us as we work together to create a more dementia-friendly community!

This program is generously funded by Exhale and its funders the Ralph C. Wilson Jr., Foundation, the Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan, BCBS of Michigan, BCBS of Michigan Foundation, the Michigan Health Endowment Fund, and Ann Arbor Area Community Foundation

Join us at the Memory Cafe, where
people living with dementia and
their family caregivers gather
monthly to find connection and
camaraderie. Enjoy engaging
activities, entertainment, and
light refreshments.

Memory Café meets the first Wednesday of each month at
The J (formally the JCC). Each session has its own theme and activities.

Enjoy a day out at the movies!
In partnership with The J and the
Berman Theater, these films are
chosen with your loved one in mind.

Movies are offered three times a year.

Cognitive training classes are
offered through Mind University
for both the caregiver and their
loved one. While you sharpen
your mind, your loved one will
be engaged in a class just right
for them.

You will have access to our team of
professionals to help find
respite resources and point you
the right direction for what you
need. Whether it is services for
your loved one or you, we are here
to help.
