Do you feel like you could use a little extra support right now? We're offering several community support groups. We invite you to join the group that is the right fit for you. Please check back as our list continues to grow to meet the needs of our community.

Postpartum Support Group

A FREE support group for moms (with babies 0-12 months) to come together to share their experiences, give and receive support, and learn about helpful tools and resources for postpartum wellness. Topics discussed will include stress, adjustment to parenting, postpartum depression/anxiety, and self-care. Lap babies welcome!

Working Moms Support Group

Join us for a FREE six-week support group where you’ll find solidarity and a space to vent, laugh, and cry about the challenges you face as a working mom. This group is open to full-time working moms with kids up to age 5 and is facilitated by Jewish Family Service social workers Rina Hennes Sabes, LMSW and Aliza Bracha Klein, LMSW.

Let's Talk Socialization Group

This group is aimed at adults 60 and older who are feeling a little isolated. The group runs each Tuesday at 2pm. We will meet face-to-face via Zoom and there are call-in options for those without a computer. New to Zoom? Help is available! To join or for more information, please contact the Resource Center at 248.592.2313 or resourcecenter@jfsdetroit.org.
