Every year, more than 800 people volunteer over 10,000 hours on behalf of Jewish Family Service. Many volunteer opportunities exist so that you can find something that interests you and fits into your schedule. We have opportunities that are weekly, bi-weekly, monthly or even just one-time opportunities. You can:

ElderCare Solutions of Michigan
24/7, concierge older adult services, helping families live well and providing peace of mind.

Project Chessed
Provides access to health care for the community's uninsured Jewish adults, through a network of volunteer practitioners and institutions providing pro bono care.

Mentor Connection
Matches volunteer adult mentors with Oakland County youth, ages 7-22, who can benefit from more support through both Community and Career Mentoring.

Project Build!
Project Build! partners JFS with the Building Industry Association of Southeast Michigan (BIA) to match low-income JFS clients in need of home repairs.

Cancer Resource Services
Provides culturally sensitive resources for those who have been touched by cancer, through advocacy, mentoring and education.

Jewish Coalition Against
Domestic Abuse
Working to educate, advocate and raise awareness of domestic abuse in our community, with the participation of over 40 community agencies and organizations.
