Jewish
Family Service Programs
Life has its shares of ups and downs. And sometimes, you need a
professional to help you sort through its daily challenges. At JFS, our goal is
to help develop strategies that strengthen family life and independence, and improve the
social and economic well being for people in the greater Detroit area.
Our social work staff, board, and volunteers work as a team to reach out to individuals
and families dealing with personal pain and hardship; to new Americans challenged by a new
culture and language; to older adults striving to maintain their independence and
self-esteem; and to children and adolescents coping with domestic
violence, divorce, and the everyday challenges of growing up.
We provide support and encouragement at every stage of life. Since
1928, JFS has
been helping people like you. Confidentially and professionally. Call us. We can help.
