Community Partners

Are you affiliated with a corporation or community organization that would like to help our mentors do the good work they do?  Our “Community Partnership Program” was created in order to help support our mentors in their mentoring relationships.

Our mentors are held financially responsible for the activities they do with their mentees. This financial burden can be cumbersome and inhibit someone to become a mentor. This is especially true with college students who want to mentor but are unable to afford the costs associated with mentoring.

To alleviate this financial burden, Mentor Connection has partnered with Oakland County establishments to offer our matches free or discounted rates during their outings.

To refer a business or to become a community partner yourself, please call Emily Croitori at 248.592.2317 or email at ecroitori@jfsdetroit.org

Our current Community Partners include:

  • Marvins
  • Franklin Athletic Club
  • Detroit Kid City
  • California Pizza Kitchen
  • Cranbrook Institute of Science
  • DIA
  • Detroit Zoo
  • Putting Edge
  • South Oakalnd YMCA
  • The New Detroit Science Center
  • Heavner Canoe Rental
  • Jewish Community Center
  • Jump Station
  • Chef David's Gourmet Pastries
  • Kensington Mills Fall Adventure Golf
