Mentoring (Mentor Connection)

Mentoring is easy — it’s taking a child to a movie, for a walk, playing catch, or even sharing a meal together.  Just do what you do.  Mentor a child today!

Mentor Connection matches volunteer adult mentors with Oakland County youth, ages 7-22, who can benefit from more support through both the Community and Career Mentoring.

Mentor Connection consistently provides quality mentoring services that exceed state standards. Through these one-on-one structured mentoring relationships, Mentor Connection strives to see that every youth involved in the program receives the support, encouragement, and skills needed to lead successful, healthy lives.

If you’d like to touch the life of a child through our mentoring services or if you’re looking for a mentor, download and complete an application below and fax to 248.592.2660 or contact Mentor Connection at 248.592.2317 or by email at mentoring@jfsdetroit.org.
