Home Care

Many older adults and their family caregivers need some assistance in order to remain at home.  Home care allows older adults to feel more control over their lives and enables them to live in a place that’s familiar and comfortable, delaying or eliminating more costly and less desirable institutionalized options.  Also, home care can help ease the strain on family caregivers of providing daily care for their loved ones.

If you or someone you love could benefit from homecare assistance to make daily life easier and more comfortable, we can help. JFS’ home care services are provided by supervised, trained staff that provides the services with competence, care and compassion.  Our team is dedicated to sustaining and improving the lives of older adults and their caregivers.

JFS designs a service plan for each client based on input from the older adult and family members.  Some of these services may include:

  • Light housekeeping
  • Laundry
  • Grocery shopping
  • Errands
  • Personal care / bathing assistance
  • Meal preparation
  • Escorted transportation
  • Companionship
  • Respite for family caregivers who need a break from the strain of constant caregiving
