Legal Assistance
Due to recent tough economic times legal services have become a great need of many. Our Legal Referral Service was created to help Jewish Family Service clients with legal consultation and possible representation in legal matters. The Legal Referral Service is made up of attorneys in the community willing to give of their time and expertise. Our volunteer attorneys are available to assist with cases such as:
- Debt Negotiation
- Bankruptcy
- Family law (divorce, child support, and custody)
- Employment Issues
- Elder Law
- Social Security
- Will and guardianship
- Other areas of expertise are also available.
Although not all legal issues can be addressed by our volunteer attorneys, we are always be willing to direct a client to other legal resources in the community that may be able to assist. If you are in need of legal assistance please contact the Resource Center at 248.592.2313.
