At Jewish Family Service of Metropolitan Detroit, we employ dedicated, caring and passionate professionals, whose top priority is meeting the needs of the people we serve.

Family and Geriatric Case Managers

JFS is fortunate to have an experienced and skilled team of case managers working with the elderly, individuals and families.  Team members have education and training in the fields of social work, psychology and education.  Several of the members within both Family Case Management and Geriatric Case Management hold masters degrees in these areas. Through ongoing training and support, our case managers stay up to date on resources and information to benefit you and your loved ones.

Mental Health Counselors

Our counseling staff includes professionals in the field of mental health and addiction recovery, with master degrees and training in the fields of social work, counseling and psychology.  Many of these professionals are fluent in Hebrew.  The JFS Mental Health Counselors bring varied experience and are able to work with you to identify your goals and improve your overall well-being.

Project Chessed Care Coordinators

Project Chessed team members excel at collaborating with you to maximize the benefits available through Project Chessed.  Our staff’s education and training in the fields of physical therapy, education, social work, public health and nursing, combined with their desire to connect individuals with medical care, provides you with more than just access to medical services.

Resource Center

The JFS Resource Center team is passionate about helping you determine and access the resources needed to best meet your needs.  Team members have extensive training and background in the areas of social work, information and referral, and community resources.  Several members on the team hold a masters degree in social work.  Additionally, we are able to provide bilingual information for Russian speaking individuals.

Family Support Specialists

Our team of Family Support Specialists brings experience in child development, education and social work, offering bilingual Spanish speaking services in this area as well.

Mentor Connection Staff

Our Mentor Connection staff has experience working with children, adolescents, and their families.  The staff has masters degrees in social work and is enthusiastic about helping youth succeed.
